Jenny Henry Garrison

Jenny Henry Garrison, age 56, of Dierks, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. She was born on February 2, 1960, in Nashville, the daughter of Preston Thomas Henry and Betty Jean Welch Henry. On May 3, 1986, she was married to Terry Lynn Garrison. She was preceded in death by her father; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Garrison. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in Public Administration. She enjoyed reading, working in her flower beds and had a great passion and love for antique shopping and collecting. She is survived by her husband, Terry Garrison of Dierks; her mother, Betty Henry of Newhope; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Derenda Henry of De Queen; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John David Powers of Dierks; two nephews, Grant Hardin and Logan Henry; two nieces and their spouses, Kayla and Kirt Connor and Paige and Kane Graham; numerous extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Gary Welch officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Joy Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Red Hunter, Ronnie Toye, Randy Dowdy, Phillip Glasgow, Keith Tedder, Charlie Smith, Grant Hardin and Brad Garner. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
