Jerry Coleman, Jr.

Jerry Coleman, Jr., age 48, of Glenwood passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born on October 23, 1966, in Tulare, California, the son of Jerry Lee Coleman, Sr. and Leona Mae Rossiter Coleman. He was preceded in death by his father; and his stepdaughter, Krystyana Miller. On June 10, 2010, he was married to Sarah Jane Keene. He was a U.S. Army veteran; a member of the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene and spent many years as a truck driver. He enjoyed studying history, watching detective shows, nature and spending time outdoors. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, who he dearly loved, especially his son, Eryk. Jerry will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Coleman, his son, Eryk Coleman, and his son-in-law, Brian Miller, all of Glenwood; his mother, Leona Coleman of Farmersville, California; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Beth Coleman of Exeter, California and David and Michelle Coleman of Alberta, Canada; his father-in-law, Andrew Keene of Bradshaw, Maryland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 27, 2015, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Warren Foxworthy officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Coker Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
