Joyce Mae McGuiggan

Joyce Mae McGuiggan, age 86, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

She was born on September 6, 1934, in Pembina, North Dakota, the daughter of Otto Winkler and Mildred Saiger Winkler. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Andrew McGuiggan; and one son, Robert McGuiggan.

Joyce was a Lutheran in her faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and our best friend. She made life fun and was a funny lady. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Martha McGuiggan and Jim and Terri McGuiggan all of Hot Springs; three daughters and one son-in-law, Michelle and Joe Mikel, of St. Paul Minnesota, Tami Fason of Hot Springs, and Kimberly McGuiggan of St. Paul, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Phyllis Winkler of Alabama; her sister, Louise Menke of Reno, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, May 10, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Pastor Eric Capaci officiating.
