Judy Rogers

Judy Rogers, age 68, of Glenwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

She was born on June 27, 1952 in Amity, the daughter of Oscar C. Harvey and Dora Inez Bishop Harvey. On July 11, 1970, she was married to Roy E. Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gene Harvey; and her sister, Cleda Harvey.

Judy was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church where she did much of the decorating, attended the Sisters of Grace women’s group and was very active with Celebrate Recovery. After over 30 years of service, she retired from Alltel and began her silk floral shop called the Country Bunch. Judy adored her three wonderful grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Rogers of Glenwood; two daughters, Shannon Rogers-Linkous and her husband, Keith, of Elizabeth, Colorado and Shyla Rogers of Denver, Colorado; her son, Lance Maxey of Glenwood; her three grandsons, Hunter Maxey, Brandon Crawford and Jaxon Manning; two brothers, Don Harvey and Lynn Harvey, both of Amity; two sisters, Anna Dillard of Amity and Ginger Taylor and her husband, Stanley, of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 12, 2020, in the Coker Cemetery with Bro. James Owens officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lance Maxey, Hunter Maxey, Brandon Crawford, Mike Harvey, Kory Taylor and Keith Linkous.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Church, PO Box 1160, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943, for their Celebrate Recovery ministry.
