Kathleen McCutcheon

June 8, 1924 — December 13, 2015

Kathleen McCutcheon, age 91, of Mount Ida, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born on June 8, 1924 at Glenwood, the daughter of Claude Marvin Foshee and Ruth May Hughes Foshee. On June 28, 1952, she was married to Armond McCutcheon who preceded her in death on December 29, 2008. A homemaker, she was known as an excellent cook and loved to visit with her friends on the phone. In the afternoons, she would not be far away from her soap operas and enjoyed crocheting. She was Assembly of God in her faith. She is survived by two children, Brenda Hooper of Sherwood and Treba McCutcheon of Norman; two grandchildren, Kenny Mann of Malvern and Wendi Jenkins of Conway; three great-grandchildren, Arthur Mann, Amy Mann and Austin Mann; and her brother, Dick Foshee of Glenwood. Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Vernon Wehunt officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will be in County Line Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arthur Mann, Austin Mann, Kenny Mann, Carl Hunt, Christopher Nichols and Christopher Sutton. Honorary pallbearer will be Kyle Sutton. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the Montgomery County Nursing Home for the wonderful care and love they always gave our mother. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
