Kenneth "Pud" Long, Jr.

Kenneth “Pud” Long, Jr., age 49, of Mountain Pine, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

He was born on January 22, 1972, in Hot Springs, the son of Kenneth R. Long, Sr. and Virginia Mayberry Long. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Hall.

He was a good son, even though he was paralyzed at the age of 16 from a swimming accident. Pud had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. He had a great love for friends and family and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. We know we will see him again soon and he will have a new body that will be well and whole.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth R. Long, Sr. and Virginia Long of Mountain Pine; his sister and brother-in-law, Malinda and Eric Henson of Mountain Pine; a niece, several nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 3, 2021, in the Hughes Cemetery with Bro. Joe Thompson officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, April 2, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
