Linda Kay Smith

Linda Kay Smith, age 72, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.

She was born on July 15, 1949, in Malvern, the daughter of Leslie Franklin Nusbaum and Lela Mae Sulton Nusbaum. On March 8, 1973, she was married to the love of her life, Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Smith. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Brown; her parents; and her brother, Leo Nusbaum.

Kay was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; and sister, whose greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. She dedicated her life to loving her family and most importantly doating over and taking care of her husband, Kenny. Kay will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Smith of Glenwood; her son, Robert Smith of Malvern; her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Ed Coleman of De Queen; four grandchildren, Lori Brown, Ashley Coleman, Taylor Smith and Clayton Smith; two great-grandchildren, Tinsleigh and Holden; three brothers, Loyd Nusbaum, Henry Nusbaum and Lilburn Nusbaum, all of Magnet Cove; two sisters, Luella Stacks of Bryant and Lizzy White of Monticello; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the Coker Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Fagan officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be Gary Buck, Ronnie Epperson, Marcus Trejo, Roy Garrett, Ricky Tedder and Ed Coleman.
