Linda Ruth Duggan

Linda Ruth Duggan, age 78, of Dierks, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

She was born on August 8, 1942, in Newhope, the daughter of William Herbert Glasgow and Fannie Lee Hearn Glasgow. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Delbert Glasgow and Elmer “Boob” Glasgow; and three sisters, Bonnie Clemens, Cloteel Garrison and Lois Ingram.

She was Baptist in her faith and a homemaker. Linda had the kindest and sweetest heart and was always a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family, whom she dearly loved and cherished. She will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing and loving her.

She is survived by three sons, Rex (Terri) Duggan of New Port Richey, Florida, Kevin (Andi) Duggan of Searcy and Marty Duggan of Mount Ida; her daughter, Dana (Adam) Ward of Lockesburg; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Lana Holder of Kirby; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the West Side Church of Christ in Dierks with Jerry Mounts officiating.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the church

Interment will be in the Bissell Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
