Lowell "Sonny" Jamieson

Lowell “Sonny” Jamieson, age 77, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021.

He was born on March 14, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Lowell Jamieson, Sr. and Buellah Cummins Jamieson. On May 15, 1995, he married Susan Meyers. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Edith Smith and Gracie Edwards.

Sonny was a Christian in his faith. He worked for Selected Cemeteries as a sales counselor for many years. Sonny enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was a friend to all and loved a good game of snooker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Susan Jamieson of Hot Springs; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Terry and Jill Jamieson of Branson, Missouri and David Jamieson of Rogers; five grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Madison, Oliva and Ryan; two great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, John Eric and Janet Jamieson of Enid, Oklahoma; his sister, Loretta Rose of Lakewood, Washington; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A celebration of Sonny’s life will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 10:00 AM, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
