Marie Elena Wahl

Marie Elena Wahl, age 72, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

She was born on December 29, 1948, in Puerto Rico, the daughter of Peter Francis White and Clara Elizabeth Gaffney White. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Eugene Wahl; her parents; and her sister, Elizabeth Ann White Arnold.

Marie had a degree in Social Work. She loved art, pottery, nature, animals and the Beatles. Her greatest joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeanne-Marie and Mike Lee of Lonsdale, Ginger Kay Straka of Hot Springs, and Laura Elizabeth and Jon James of Malvern; five grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Justin Lee, Nicholas Lee, Kara Finney and Ella James; one great-grandchild, Sevaryn Finney; three brothers, Michael James White, James Thomas White and Sean Peter White; numerous nieces, nephews extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
