Marion Spears

Marion Spears, age 55, of Point Cedar, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. She was born on December 18, 1963 in Artesia, California, the daughter of Kenneth McGinnis and Bonnie Fish McGinnis. On December 5, 1981, she was married to Ken Spears. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Robin Ratton. She received her BSE in Elementary Education from Indiana University and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ken Spears of Point Cedar; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sabrina Waterfield of China and Tiffany and Kyle Lash of San Diego, California; five grandchildren, Eli Waterfield, Vivian Lash, Caden Lash, Alex Lash and Maura Lash; and her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Donna McGinnis of Orange, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with cremation following. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
