Mark W. Brotherston

Mark W. Brotherston, age 58, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020.

Mark was born on April 8, 1962, in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of Glenn Robert Brotherston and Gladys Theresa Novak Brotherston. He is predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Milo Brotherston.

He grew up in northern Minnesota where he worked for Marvin Windows and Polaris Industries. Mark was a computer specialist who worked for CGI. In 2006 he moved to Hot Springs and went to work for Oaklawn for a few years. He then went to work for the passport center and was a manager there. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Brotherston of Hot Springs; his son, Cody J. Tindell of Hot Springs; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Tammy and Spencer Cole of Greenbush, Minnesota and Twila Brotherston of Roseau, Minnesota; three nephews, Brandon Peterson, Kyle Rarick, and Devon Peterson all of Roseau, Minnesota; and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 100 persons at any one time in the funeral home chapel, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering at all times when inside the funeral home.
