Mary A. Lacefield

June 20, 1932 — February 1, 2015

Our mom, Mary A. Lacefield, age 82, of Glenwood, went to Heaven on Sunday, February 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colvie Lacefield, and her two brothers and two sisters. Her passion for the Lord, church, her Bible, and helping others has been her way of life for a long time. Mom had the awesome power to make you laugh, learn, love, and live for the Lord. She is survived by her four daughters, Linda (Ronnie) Barnett of Pearcy, Brenda (Dennis) Terry of Amity, Janet (Myron) Massey of Bonnerdale and Carol Albright of Hot Springs; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; her surviving siblings include two brothers, Bill Provins and Jim Provins, both of Texas and one sister, Marge Melichar of Glenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 9, 2015, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene with Bro. J. B. Evans officiating. Come join us as we celebrate our mother's victory walk from her earthly home to her Heavenly home with Jesus. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grant's Chapel Cemetery Fund, 1501 Dollar Road, Glenwood, Arkansas, 71943 or to The Nazarene Church Food Pantry, 776 Hwy. 70 East, Glenwood, Arkansas, 71943.
