Mary Lee Blades

Mary Lee Blades, age 72, of Pearcy, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021.

She was born on March 2, 1947, in Hattieville, the daughter of Dudley Ray Reid and Maxine B. Rudkin. On August 19, 1966, she married Mike Blades who preceded her in death in 2019 after 52 years of marriage. She is also predeceased by her father; and her step-father, Hurley Sigler.

Mary was a Christian in her faith and a member of Piney Grove Methodist Church. She and Mike owned and operated Blades Air-condition. She worked at S&K Mini Storage. Mary was involved with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and volunteered at Cross Country Track meets for Lake Hamilton Wolves. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kristi Blades of Hot Springs and Robert Blades of Pearcy; two grandsons, Michael Blades and Aydan Blades; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Barbie Reid of Wichita Falls, Texas; her sister, Linda Siglier; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 29, 2021, at 2:00PM in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Scott Gallimore officiating under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
