Mary T. McFarland

Mary T. McFarland, age 90, of Hot Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

She was born on November 13, 1930, in El Dorado, the daughter of Billy Jerry Thomas and Mary Lucy Huffman Thomas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elsie Ray McFarland; her parents; four brothers, Joe Bill Thomas, James Leslie Thomas, Hubert Thomas and Earl Thomas, and one sister, Virginia Thomas Johnson.

She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved to crochet for her new grandbabies and friends. She loved to fish especially with her late husband. They had some great times camping and fishing. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Denita McFarland of Nash, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Frankie Odom of Pearcy; four grandchildren and three spouses, Jeremy McFarland of Garland, Texas, Jeffrey and Michelle McFarland of Texarkana, Texas, Eric and Beth Odom of Benton, Danielle and Pete Serviolo of Akins, Oklahoma; seven great-grandchildren, Ava Odom, Charlotte Odom, Ella Odom, Bailey Rowland, Riley Rowland, Emery Serviolo and Cortland Serviolo; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Betty Thomas; her brother-in-law, Darris McFarland of Cordova, Tennessee; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Ken Carney officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Doug Lackey officiating, in the Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery, in El Dorado.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
