Ola M. Mace

Ola M. Mace, age 78, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, June 7, 2020.

She was born on March 30, 1942, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Elmer B. Stafford and Ola Rea York Stafford. On August 9, 1961, she married Raymond Mace. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Kay Mace; her parents; two brothers, Junior Stafford and Johnny Stafford; and two sisters, Willa Kay Avaritt and Patsy Riley.

Ola was a member of Jesus Name Fellowship Tabernacle. She retired from the Hot Springs School District where she worked for many years as a cafeteria manager. Ola enjoyed shopping and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed drinking coffee and eating pink Snowballs.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Mace; one son and daughter-in-law, Russell and April Mace; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Curtis Cash, all of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Tamra and Chris Riddell, Stephanie and Wyatt Vance, Tasha Price, Jaydee Mace, Tyler Mace, Shamus Mace, Alyssa Mace; nine great-grandchildren, Brayden, Cody, Hayley, Aiden, Abby, Xoe, Michael, Dalton and Christian; one sister, Joyce Stafford of Hot Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2020, in the Crestview Memorial Park, with Rev. Russell Mace and Rev. Vernon Rigsby officiating under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening.

Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 50 persons at any one time in the funeral home chapel, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering to enter.

Pallbearers will be Jaydee Mace, Tyler Mace, Shamus Mace, Christian Toribio, Brayden Cash, Cody Riddell and James Price.
