Ollie Egleston

Ollie Egleston, age 89, of Mount Ida, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born on September 25, 1924 at Silver, Arkansas, the daughter of Jody L. Brown and Mary Mayberry Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Egleston; her parents; her brother, Jeff Brown; and her sister, Irene Williams. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church. She is survived by four daughters, Sarah Jimerson of Alma, Dean Zmuda of Hot Springs, Jo Childress and Nina Rucker, both of Mount Ida; one son, Dave Decker of Mount Ida; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Thelma Casey of Mount Ida. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the Joplin Cemetery with Bro. Paul Burke officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be John Hackney, Jimmy Smith, Brent Furr, Dave Decker, Gary Egleston and Ronnie Mayberry. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
