Paralee Dumont

Paralee Dumont, age 86, of Norman, died Friday, April 20, 2012. She was born on November 17, 1925 in Frogville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Johnny Sargent and Dorothy Sink Sargent. On July 5, 1942, she was married to J. D. Dumont who preceded her in death on May 17, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rachel Melinda Dumont; her sister, Vida Mae Gilbert; and her brother, Floyd Sargent. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three children, Doug Dumont and his wife, Linda, of Norman, Wanda Golden and her husband, Junior, of Newhope and Ann Tidwell of Glenwood; seven grandchildren, Donnie Golden, Karen Fant McCoy, Leslie Ann Coopman, Todd Tidwell, Randy Golden, Marla Tidwell and James Dumont; four great-grandchildren, Kaylan Golden, Taylor Fant, Rachel Belle Dumont and James Tate Dumont; and two brothers-in-law, Jack Dumont of Idabel, Oklahoma and Jerry Dumont of Hochatown, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Robbie Loudermilk officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
