Patricia Louise Grant

April 2, 1936 — October 17, 2021

At 5:15 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021, surrounded by family, Patricia Louise Grant, took her final steps into eternal glory.

“Patti”, as she will be more commonly remembered, was born on April 2, 1936. Her parents were Edward C. Paulson and Agnes Sebian Paulson, both of Hutchinson, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Douglas Paulson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Curtis Carroll Grant, in September, 2017; and also her grandson, Isaiah Curtis Campbell.

Patti is survived by her daughters, Debbye Caryl Graafsma and her husband, Rev. William Graafsma, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina and Kari Elisabeth Campbell and her husband, Vance Campbell of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She leaves five grandchildren, Rachel Fesko, Bethany Graafsma, Michelle Graafsma, Lydia Campbell and Caedmon Campbell; and two great-grandchildren, Ian and Arabella Fesko.

Patti Grant was a trailblazer for women who serve in ministry, during a season when female leaders in a church setting was not popular. Along with her husband, (remembered as C.C.) began their worldwide missionary adventure in 1953. As assistants to T. L. and Daisy Osborn, they served in many foreign fields for 18 years.

Upon return from the field, C.C. and Patti founded Custom Graphics in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they provided resource support for more than 100 ministries.

Then, in 1988, they felt called to return to the Australian Outback. They headquartered in Kingaroy, Queensland. Through their ministry, “Waymarks”, they built and established churches and distributed numerous original books and publications, many in four languages. They provided a ministry to the Aborigines in Australia and the tribal people of Papua, New Guinea. There is no way to express the number of persons whose lives were influenced and affected by the prayer life of this godly woman.
