Patsy Ruth Scott

Patsy Ruth Scott, age 82, of Amity, died Monday, August 17, 2020.

She was born on November 30, 1937, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Rellous Powell and Lona Braughton Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Scott; and one son, Ron Scott.

Patsy worked as an administrative assistant with Northrup-Grumman Areospace and Defense where she contributed to the B-2 Stealth Bomber Program. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was so very proud of her family.

She is survived by her son, Mark Scott of Point Cedar; three grandchildren, Sara Flick of Marysville, Washington, Michael (Jen) Scott of Everett, Washington, and Joshua Scott of Little Mountain, South Carolina; sister, Josie Davis of Van Buren; and five great-grandchildren, Austin, Kaitlan, Emma and Skyler Flick and Emma Rose Scott.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2020 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Tim Jordan and Linda Jordan officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the funeral home.

Social distancing directives will be in place-100 or less at a time in chapel, face covering must be worn.
