Peggy Sue Bell Hopper

Peggy Sue Bell Hopper, age 61, of Arkadelphia, formerly of Amity, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born on December 14, 1958, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of Lendel Doyle Bell and Hazel Rosie Rinkle Bell. On June 16, 1975, she was married to Willie A. Hopper who preceded her in death on September 21, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Willie Shane Hopper; her parents; her sister, Reba Alice Bell; and two brothers, John Richard Bell and L. D. Bell. She was Baptist in her faith and a homemaker. She loved her cats, listening to the radio, drinking her coffee and watching old western movies. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who loved her family with all her heart. Peggy will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Landon Dale and Christina Hopper of Bismarck; her daughter and son-in-law, Lee Ann and William Hannah of Higden; five grandchildren, Michael Brown, Dalana Hopper, Sherry Hopper, Landon Hopper and Iris Hopper; one great-grandson, Connor Alexander Brown; one sister, Katie Holcomb of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Troy Joe Bell and Doyle Bell, both of Okolona; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Dale Hopper, Jr. of Amity, George and Virginia Hopper of Kirby and Lavola and Danny Whisenhunt of Caddo Gap; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 12, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Visitation will be held Sunday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the County Line Cemetery, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Landon Hopper, Michael Brown, William Hannah and Iris Hopper. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
