Ralph Harry "Tino" Laffredi

January 20, 1940 — November 12, 2013

Ralph Harry "Tino" Laffredi, age 73, of Glenwood, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. He was born on January 20, 1940 in Waukegan, Illinois, the son of Harry Laffredi and Lorene Vollmer Laffredi. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2278. He retired in Illinois, moved to Glenwood in 2000 and became manager of Trident Development Apartments. At 1:00 AM, Tuesday, in his hospital room, he gave his life to the Lord and became a Christian in his faith. Tino was a happy go lucky guy that had many friends and adopted family who will miss him greatly. He has no immediate survivors. Memorial services with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 21, 2013 in the Mount Tabor Cemetery near Glenwood with arrangements under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Tabor Cemetery Association. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
