Ray E. Webb, age 56, of Pearcy, passed from this life on Friday, August 14, 2015, after a courageously fought battle with cancer. He was born on December 12, 1958, in Malvern, the son of Elkins Webb and Margery Floyd Webb. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Lila Jay Phillips. Ray was a kind and loving man, a Christian in his faith, and employed with Wal-Mart. He had a warm and passionate love for his dogs and always enjoyed working in his flower gardens, making beautiful arrangements with the results of his very talented green thumb. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Bennie Webb of Amity; his sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Richard Harris of Amity; four nieces and their husbands, Monica and Mark Diffee, Lea Ann and Charles Ducote, Tammy and Willie Ringer and Tabitha Wakefield; one nephew and his wife, Tracy and Sarah Harris; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Glen Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jones Cemetery Association Fund, c/o Dora Lee Bean, 316 N. Hill Street, Amity, Arkansas, 71921. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
