October 26, 1937 — January 14, 2022

Ray Lacefield, age 84, of Newhope, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022.

He was born on October 26, 1937, in Newhope, the son of Raymond F. Lacefield and Artie Coffman Lacefield. On July 11, 1957, he was married to Phyllis Frappier. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Lacefield; his parents; and his sister and brother-in-law, Selba and Jim Stuart.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Lacefield of Newhope; three children, Rick Lacefield of Nashville, Michelle Lacefield of Arkansas and Shawna Jules of Lake Charles, Louisiana; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Gayla Lacefield of Nashville.
