Rita Moore

Rita Moore, age 82, of Glenwood, died Friday, December 26, 2014. She was born on October 29, 1932 at Madill, Oklahoma, the daughter of Saul Martin Cooksey and Edith Gibson Cooksey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Moore; and three siblings, J. W. Cooksey, Betty Coates and Joyce Counts. A Christian, she was Pentecostal in her faith and licensed into the ministry. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jerry and Vicky Wilson and Steve and Rose Wilson, all of Arkadelphia and Tom Phillips of Bridgeport, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jerry Wilson, Jr., Cheri' Yarbrough, Tye Wilson, Steven Phillips, Cory Wilson, T. J. Phillips and Ryan Wilson; fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Cooksey of Caddo Gap and Gordon Cooksey of Exeter, California; three sisters, Shirley Wiyott of Glenwood, Connie Kemp of Visalia, California and Margie Turner of Arkadelphia; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Bob Wiyott officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Wilson, Jr., Ryan Daniel Wilson, Tye Wilson, Cory Wilson, Steven Phillips, T. J. Phillips and Tom Phillips. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
