Robert "Mike" Lowrey

Robert “Mike” Lowrey, age 68, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020.

He was born on August 31, 1952, in Hot Springs, the son of Robert “Bob” Joseph Lowrey and Mary Jane Robison Lowrey. On December 28, 1973, he married Bernice Battle. He was preceded in death by his mother; and one niece, Danielle Norwood.

Mike was a member of First Baptist Church and an Arkansas Army National Guard veteran. He worked for many years with his father as a stone mason. Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice, Lowrey; his son, Robert Adam Lowrey; two grandchildren, Kara Lowrey and Karma Lowrey; his father; Robert “Bob” Lowrey; his sister, Charlotte Norwood; all of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2020, in the First Baptist Church with Bro. John McCallum officiating.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM, at the church.

Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 66% of the total seating capacity occupied at the church, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering at all times.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
