Roger Oblander

Roger Oblander, age 67, of Glenwood, died Monday, December 30, 2013. He was born on August 28, 1946 in Billings, Montana, the son of Raymond Oblander and Margaret Oswald Oblander. On June 30, 1967, he was married to Phyllis Cantrell. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Oblander; and his parents. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Glenwood First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Oblander of Glenwood; his daughter and son-in-law, Dee and B. J. Brumit of Rockwall, Texas; five grandchildren, Rebecca Oblander, Brandon Oblander, Tyler Livingston, Kayson Brumit and Kyle Brumit; his brother, Larry Oblander of Gretna, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services with military honors will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating.
