Rosalee J. Cogburn

Rosalee J. Cogburn, age 89, of Hopper, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011. She was born on June 1, 1921, at Freemont, Missouri, the daughter of James B. Reynolds and Alcie E. Shomaker Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cogburn; her son, Curtis Cogburn; her granddaughter, Donna Graves; and her great-grandson, James Earl Horton. She attended the Community Bible Baptist Church and was known by everyone as "Granny". She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Earlene Looper of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 4, 2011, in the Fancy Hill Cemetery with Sister Mary Forsythe officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
