She was a faithful member of Barr Memorial Presbyterian Church in Norman for 84 years, wrote church history, and helped teach the Adult Sunday School Class after retirement. Ruth loved visits, storytelling, and long walks with family and friends. She was an avid gardener and knowledgeable about local, national, and world events. She is survived by her sister, Betty Horne of Norman; sister-in-law, Irene Mason Horne of Littleton, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
