Sandy (Washburn) Patterson

Sandy (Washburn) Patterson, age 48, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

She was born on December 20, 1971, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Donald Washburn and Brenda (Bailey) Washburn.

Sandy had a passion for artwork and she loved to draw and paint. She loved 80’s hair bands and could tell you the artist of any metal song that came on the radio. Sandy was a graduate of Lakeside High School and Hot Springs Beauty College and for many years, she enjoyed her work as a cosmetologist. She loved watching animal documentaries and supernatural television shows. Sandy was a proud mother and new grandmother and she loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Madeline and Anthony Larkin; her granddaughter, Alyssa Larkin; her mother, Brenda Washburn; two sisters, Donna Bias and Mary Bates; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, July 19, 2020, in The Salvation Army Hot Springs, 115 Crescent Avenue with Captain Bradley Hargis officiating. Social distancing directives will be in place-50 or less at a time in chapel, face covering must be worn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
