Sharon Kay Stockfleth Dickinson

Sharon Kay Stockfleth Dickinson, age 73, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020.

Sharon was born on April 7, 1947, in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, the daughter of Roy James Stockfleth and Beulah Simmons Stockfleth. She is predeceased by her husband, Reverend Leroy Dickinson; her father; and one grandson, Derek Dickinson.

Sharon was a native of Empire, Louisiana and a 1965 graduate of Port Sulphur High School, Port Sulphur, Louisiana and a 1971 graduate of Clark Memorial Junior College, Newton Mississippi.

She was a recent resident at Quapaw Assisted Living Care Facility. A special and heartfelt thanks goes to the multiple caregivers of the facility.

Sharon was a beloved and supportive wife of her husband in the numerous churches and mission projects where she played the piano, sang in the choir, and worked with the various administrative departments in the church, along with the youth groups and persons in need. Upon her husband’s death, she was an active member in numerous churches where she resided. She will be remembered and missed greatly by her many relatives and friends she made during her life’s journey.

She is survived by her children, Heather Dickinson Swatzlander, Roger Howard Dickinson and his wife, Amy Loraine Dickinson, and Chasity Kay Dickinson McBroom; her grandchildren, Brent Evan Swartzlander, Katie Lynn Swartzlander, Haden Ryan Swatzlander, Cameron Shawn Dickinson, Kyle Bradner Dickinson, Amber Michelle McBroom, Deondre Sahelian McBroom, James Grey, Jr., and Yaliya McBroom; her mother, Beulah Stockfleth; her brother and sister-in-law, James “Randy” and Sara Stockfleth; her niece, Jamie Marie Stockfleth; her nephew, Eric James (Ashley) Stockfleth; her great-nephews, Taylor James Stockfleth, Aaron Michael Dees, and Dylan james Stockfleth; ; special loving cousins, Merry and Murry Volk and Margret and Paul Bondi; and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be 12:00 PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery, 447 Lawrence Road, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs.

Pallbearers will be Roger Dickinson, Cameron Dickinson, Kyle Dickinson, Eric Stockfleth and Paul Bondi.

In lieu of flowers, Gideon Bibles are suggested to be sent in her memory or the American Cancer Society.
