Susan D. Ingram, age 68, of Kirby, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

She was born on November 17, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of David Monroe Ingram and Lula Moss Mixon Ingram. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Susan was a 1970 graduate of Irving High School in Irving, Texas. After her parents retired, she moved to Kirby with them in 1984. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, watching TV, working word search puzzles and playing with her cats and dogs. Susan was a faithful member of Glenwood First Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday School class. She was a resident of Oak Park Village and the Montgomery County Nursing Home where she enjoyed her stay and the many new friends she made over the years. Susan will be remembered for her sweet smile, gentle spirit and providing comfort and joy to her friends and family.

She is survived by two sisters, Carol O’Neal of Kirby and Pat Schoonover and her husband, Bob, of Athens, Texas; two nephews and their spouses, Josh and Malena Ingram of Kirby and Jesse and Leigh O’Neal of Corpus Christi, Texas; three great-nephews, Trent Ingram, Sam Ingram and Zay Ingram; and two great-nieces, Avery O’Neal and McKayla Selby.

The family will conduct a private memorial service at a later time.

Memorials may be made to the Glenwood First Baptist Church MAC Building Fund, PO Box 373, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
