Teddy Sadler

Teddy Sadler, age 72, of Amity, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was born on September 9, 1942 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Howard Sadler and Verdell Starr Sadler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Oscar Cole; his brother, Dwain Sadler; and his twin brother, Talmadge Sadler. He retired from Vought Aircraft after 33 years of employment with the company. He then went to work for the Texas Motor Speedway which he enjoyed for the next 13 years. He was a member of the Amity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sadler of Amity, Arkansas; three children and their spouses, Lee Sadler of El Dorado, Arkansas, T. L. & Isibel Sadler of Coppell, Texas and Mindy and Anthony Holcombe of Glenwood, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Myrna Sadler of Garland, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, Treon and Leon McIntire of South Lake, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, Colleyville, Texas. Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, in the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Harris officiating. Interment will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
