Terry D. Massey, age 57, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

He was born on October 24, 1964, in Stockton California. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Alexavier Jayvis Hamilton; his mother, Lou Ann Walker; his sister, Dana Russell; his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Nelda Massey; his maternal grandparents, Wayne Walker and Mary Ann Buell; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Willie and Icle Hamilton.

Terry was a member of the Lakepoint Church and president of the Arkansas Honor Ride. He was a huge advocate for military veterans and loved riding his motorcycle any chance he could. Terry served in the Air National Guard where he made an attempt to smuggle a koala bear home. Bringing laughter to everyone through his funny jokes and stories was his way to help others feel joy and happiness.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Massey; three children and their spouses, Sarah and Zack Kelley, Aaron and Phylicia Hamilton and Andrew and Delana Hamilton; five grandchildren, Cecyllia Hamilton, Cassalynn Hamilton, Tyler Hamilton, Skyler Hamilton and Wallie Kelley; his father and step-mother, Bradley and Janice Massey; one sister, Paula Porter; and two brothers, Scottie Massey and Dennis James.

He would have loved for us to also acknowledge that he will forever be Grandma’s favorite!

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022, in the Dillard Homestead Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. John McAnally officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Settles, Levi Stonesipher, Marvin Hampton, Zack Kelley, Kevin Carr, Andrew Hamilton and Aaron Hamilton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood.
