Thalia "Teri" Sears

Thalia "Teri" Sears, age 65. Of Hot Springs, died Monday, May 4, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1954, in Vista, California, the daughter of Clifford Bennett and Patricia Bozeman Bennett. She was preceded in death by one son, Jason Sears; her parents; and one sister, Tami Brown. Teri as she was lovingly called by her family and friends, was known as the "fun" and "cool" mom by their childrens friends. Teri had a fun-loving, adventurous and spontaneous personality that she was not afraid to show. She enjoyed watching movies, "The Price is Right and playing Bingo. Teri loved the ocean, sweets, Betty Boop and a good manicure/pedicure. More than all of those combined, she absolutely loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Teris infectious smile and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by the father of her children, Carl Sears; one son, Justin Sears (Patricia); two daughters, Jennifer Walker (Derrick) and Jessica Burks (Matt); seven grandchildren, Kelsie and Kaleigh Walker, Coil and Kinsley Burks, Kaden Wilcox, Andrew Thompson and Randall Parchman; one brother, Nick Bennett; two sisters, Cheryl Cohen and Jamie Maness; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. A celebration of Teris life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. The family would like to thank the Village Springs Nursing and Rehab and Dierksen Hospice for the care Teri was given when it was needed most. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
