Therman Boone

Therman Boone, age 53, of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

He was born on October 12, 1967, in El Dorado, the son of Sherman Boone and Gladys Cobb Boone. On January 30, 1995, he married his high school sweetheart, Karyn Warren. He is predeceased by his parents.

Therman was a Jehovah’s Witness in his faith and a caregiver with First Step for the last five years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and gun collecting. He was a loving husband, father, brother and pepaw who was greatly loved by his family and his children were the apple of his eye.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karyn Boone; his son, Mason Boone; his two daughters, Ashleigh Boone and Jetta Boone; two grandchildren, Adriyonna and Zion; his twin brother, Herman Boone; three sisters, Pamela Boone all of Hot Springs, Tabitha Boone and Regina Boone both of Lincoln, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 5, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 66% of the total seating capacity occupied at the chapel, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering at all times.
