Tina D. Wilkes, age 53, of Daisy, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1964 at Pensacola, Florida, the daughter of Derry Parker and Gail Short Parker. She was preceded in death by her father. On June 15, 2002, she was married to John Wilkes. Tina was a medical lab technician and worked for the Pike County Memorial Hospital. She was active with the Relay for Life which benefited the American Cancer Society. She was a member of the Lodi Free Will Baptist Church where she was involved with the WAC and other church activities. Tina was also active with the Extension Homemakers Club and enjoyed cooking and canning. She loved being with her grandchildren and attending all of their activities. She is survived by her husband, John Wilkes of Daisy; two daughters, Elizabeth Nolen and her husband, Matthew, of Amity and Cassandra Shaw of Daisy; her mother, Gail Parker of Lodi: four step-sons, Mike Wilkes, Billy J. Christian, Ricky Wilkes and Gary Wilkes, all of Arkadelphia; one step-daughter, Jasmin Ilsemann and her husband, Christian, of Germany; six grandchildren, Logan Miller, Evie Nolen, Drayke Shaw, Kimberly Ilsemann, Matthew Nolen and Aaron Ilsemann; her brother, Jeff Parker of Prairie Grove; and her sister, Terri Frost of Glenwood. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 30, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Ron Parker and Bro. Joe Short officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Wilkes, Billy Christian, Ricky Wilkes, Gary Wilkes, Johnathan Parker, Dakota Long, Jason Parker and Zane Frost. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, % Christy Buck, 2579 Fendley Road, Amity, Arkansas 71921 which will honor Tinas work with the Relay for Life.
