Bill was born on April 8, 1964, to a loving family. On August 29, 1993, he married the love of his life, Lisa.

Bill served in law enforcement for thirty years, with five years as a Hot Springs Police Officer and twenty-five years with the Garland County Sheriff’s Office. Bill was instrumental in many developments within the Sheriff’s Office, including the cadet program and computer programs for the Patrol Division. Bill also served as a member of the Tactical Response Team for a number of years.

At the time of his death, Bill held the rank of Sergeant in the Patrol Division. Bill took great pride in the fact that many who worked under the umbrella of his leadership went on to become supervisors on different shifts or advanced to other divisions.

In 2021, Bill received the Certificate of Valor for potentially saving a shooting victim’s life by putting a torniquet on the man’s leg.

Bill faithfully attended Wildwood Tabernacle, where he proudly served as a Deacon.

Bill was loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be missed dearly and although his law enforcement family mourns his loss, they will continue to be a torch in the light to those in the darkness.
