Wilma "Dene" Rowe

Wilma “Dene” Rowe, age 89, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

She was born on November 19, 1931, in Pearcy, the daughter of Bernie Ferrell and Ruby Johnson Ferrell. On October 7, 1950, she was married to Roger Cordnal Rowe who preceded her in death on March 31, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Ferrell and Roy Don Ferrell; and her sister, Doris “June” Suit.

Dene and Roger retired together from the Hot Springs Water Department to live the next amazing and joyous 31 years with their cherished family, loved ones, and many friends. She was a member of the Lakeshore Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Free of Benton and Carrie Hardison of Hot Springs; her grandchildren, Cameron Free, Caitlyn Ford, Cody Ford, Mackenzie Thielmann and Kylie Thielmann; her great-granddaughter, Lainey Ford; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry DeWayne and Linda Ferrell of Hot Springs; and her sister and brother-in-law, Donna Lynn and Larry Suit of Bonnerdale.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Tim Evans officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00 PM until service time, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Tranquil Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Dean Traywick, Deano Traywick, Stan DeGruccio, J.E. Rowe, Buck Ferrell and Casey Ferrell.
