Ronny Ray Noles

Ronny Ray Noles, age 70, of Jessieville, Arkansas, closed his eyes here on this earth on May 27, 2020, and opened them in the presence of Jesus in his new Heavenly Home. Ronny was born on August 22, 1949, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. On January 26, 1968, he married the love of his life, Wanda Savall. On September 16, 1968, he became an ordained Southern Baptist minister and pastored Cedar Glades Baptist Church, Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Refuge Baptist Church, Pearcy Baptist Church, Lake Ouachita Baptist Church, and Barnett Baptist Church. He closed out his ministry as Associational Missionary of the Caddo River Baptist Association, where he was a pastor to the pastors. He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church. Besides telling people of Jesus, he loved hunting, fishing, telling stories and jokes and in his earlier years, refereeing high school basketball games. He loved spending time with his family, but his greatest joys came from being called Poppaw. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wanda Noles of Jessieville, Arkansas; his daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda and Farron Foley and Deanna and Tommy Jones, all of Story, Arkansas; his grandchildren and their spouses, Davey and Haley Foley of Glenwood, Arkansas, Tyler Jones, and Kaylynn Jones of Story, Arkansas; one great-grandson, Levi Foley of Glenwood, Arkansas. He is also survived by a special nephew, who he considered a son, and his family, Sean and Amanda, Haley and Luke OKeane; his brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Sue Noles of Jessieville, Arkansas; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Bobby Welch of Ward, Arkansas, Patsy and Hollis Johnson of Jessieville, Arkansas, and Sheila and Bill Dobbs of Bryant, Arkansas; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bud Savall, Tommy and Tina Savall, and Jeanie Savall, all of Jessieville, Arkansas; two special nieces, Lindsey Savall and Alia Savall; several nieces and nephews and a whole host of friends. Ronny was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and Gladys Noles; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Alia Savall; his sisters, Patricia Noles Cox and Wanda Dale Robertson. Pallbearers will be Tyler Jones, Davey Foley, Levi Foley, Kaylynn Jones, Haley Foley, Wayne Welch, Glenn Noles, Thomas Lephiew and Dr. Gregory Whorton. Honorary pallbearers are members of Refuge Baptist Church, his special nurse Linda Chaddick at Dr. Whortons office, Dr. Michael Hubbard, Dr. Rajesh Shroff and staff, Dr. Richard Braley, Dr. Cara Way, Dr. Jeffrey Bordelon, Hot Springs Pulmonology Clinic, staff of CHI 70 West Clinic, staff of Southern Caregivers, and Hospice Homecare. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2020, in the New Mount Pleasant Cemetery, West Glazypeau Road, with Bro. Clarence Shell and Bro. Don Jones officiating.
